Cultural resource management is a critical component of stewardship and operational excellence at the INL Site. All work conducted at the site requires consideration of cultural resources due to federal laws and regulations, state laws, Department of Energy policies, and legal commitments between DOE and the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes, the State of Idaho, and the federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
The INL Cultural Resource Management team is uniquely positioned to provide the services, products, and expertise necessary to effectively integrate cultural resource consideration into project and land use planning and implementation for a wide variety of INL projects and programs.
